Christmas Time Is Here

The snow is gently drifting down,
Covering up all of town.
Little children calmly wait,
'Till it's time for Christmas Day!

Christmas, Christmas time is here,
Lots of toys and lots of cheer.
I have some gifts and Molly too!
Lots of presents for me and you.

Christmas presents kids will get,
From Santa who they have not met.
Don't forget to hang your socks,
For when it's Christmas night.

Christmas, Christmas time is here,
Lots of toys and lots of cheer.
I have some gifts and Molly too!
Lots of presents for me and you.

The Eagle's Journey Across The World

This wonderful bird began it's eventful journey in his cosy nest in Florence, Italy. Since he learnt to fly, he had been exploring. Now it was time to explore the world. No longer an eaglet, he had finished exploring within the border of the country and now he would explore further. Perhaps, he would find a different place to live, where he would stay near his home but be able to explore a bigger country. After a decent meal and a comfortable nap, our brave eagle started the adventure he had been waiting for all his life. Confidently he flew over the Mediterranean Sea to get to Monaco, France. When he arrived at his destination, the eagle slept soundly as it was a tiring flight. Awake, he flew to Paris. The bird saw one of the best things there was to see. The Eiffel Tower. The eagle landed swiftly on top of a restaurant and at turbo speed it pushed itself up, landing on the very top of the Eiffel Tower. He soared to Brest where he slept and ate. The next day our ambitious eagle travelled to the UK. It fluttered to Salisbury where he flew in and out Stonehenge but decided it wasn't the weather he liked and quickly directed himself to Windsor Castle. Shortly, he realised he wasn't welcome to royalty as he scared most people and there were many tourists viewing castles and such places. Next he soared to Big Ben, circling it admiringly. Settling on the London Eye, the eagle spent the night there but only after eating some fish from the River Thames. The next day,the eagle soared over to the USA. He was so exhausted he fell the moment he skimmed the ground. When our eagle woke, he saw the White House and in it the President dancing in his dressing gown! Gliding past the Empire State Building, his destination was the Statue of Liberty. As his claws left the statue, our eagle continued its journey until it reached Australia. That day was spent by Sydney Opera House and at the end of the day a relaxing nest was made. And to the day he dies he lives there peacefully and soon enough with a family.

Easter

At Easter lots of children run around
And I can hear their playing sound
As they hunt to find the eggs.
I don't think they have tired legs.
The children will soon have a bunch
To take and munch.
Later the children will egg-tap.
They will cheer and clap.

People are generous at this time,
They hear the morning bells chime.
People go to church and sing
As it is an important thing.
The Jesus Christ celebration!
It's a festival for the whole nation.

Legend of Martisor

The legend tells that once upon a time the sun, turning into a handsome man used to come down to earth to dance in Romanian villages. Knowing what the new passion of the sun was, a dragon followed and kidnapped him during one of his trips. Then he threw the sun into the basement of his castle.
After the sun was kidnapped, everyone lost their joy, but no one dared to face the dragon. One day, a brave young man decided to go and save the sun. Most of the people followed him giving the young man their power so that he would be able to defeat the dragon.
His journey lasted for 3 seasons: summer, autumn and winter. At the end of the last one, the young man managed to find the dragon’s castle and the battle began. After days of fighting the dragon was finally defeated. Without strength and hurt, the young man released the sun making everyone that had put their hopes in him happy. The nature revived, people started smiling again, only the lad didn’t manage to see spring come.
While the warm blood from his wounds fell on the ground and the snow melted, white flowers, called snowdrops, the messengers of spring, were rising from the ground. When the last drop of his blood dropped in the snow, he died happy because his life had served such a noble purpose.
